The countdown begins until we come home for Christmas and we're just so excited to see everyone again! We're also very excited... to move! We got a call that our house should be ready for this coming Thursday. We're really doubtful that it'll be ready that soon, but at least we know that finishing is on their minds as well. Our cabinets are in and the stairs have been installed. Almost all the siding is done. There are some small details to finish on the inside (some grouting, tiling, plumbing, etc) and then the rough grade of the lot and the front veranda need to be finished as well. We took tons of pictures of our cabinets to show you. It's probably one of my favorite parts of the house. Unfortunately the lighting does not do the cabinet colours justice. The bathroom cabinet in the ensuite is the exact colour of the kitchen cabinets and can give you a better idea of what they look like. Even the stairs look awfully cherry-ish in the pictures, but they're much more subdued than that! We'll definitely take more pictures once everything is finished and then hopefully the colours will come through better. Other than that, you'll have to come visit to see how wonderful everything looks in person!
There's not much else for news around here. I'll finish off with the pictures... and stay tuned... there will be alot more to come once we get the keys!

Our kitchen! I appologize for the light. It was the middle of the afternoon but very dark and rainy so we had to use the halogen lamp that the crew left behind.
